Fedor Emelianenko is back !!!

Fedor Emelianenko, the Last Emperor is back after his three consecutive losses to Fabricio Werdum, Antonio “Big Foot” Silva and Dan “Hendo” Henderson. The Russian Legend win his fight against Jeff “The Snowman” Monson via unanimous decision. The Last Emperor who added new skills such as low kicks to his arsenal during the camp in Netherlands, broke the leg of Monson during the fight. The prime minister of the Russia, Vladimir Putin was in attendence at the fight night. Fedor faced Monson at M-1 Global: Fedor vs. Monson event hold  on November 20, 2011 at the Olympic Arena in Moscow, Russia.

 

The Last Emperor is going to face Olympic judoka gold medalist Satoshi Ishii at Fight For Japan: Genki Desu Ka Omisoko 2011 on December 31, 2011 at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.

Strikeforce Grand Prix Heavyweight Tournament: Overeem vs Werdum

The STRIKEFORCE World Grand Prix — Heavyweight Tournament will continue on Saturday, June 18  in Dallas, Texas

The Grand Prix will continue with two more two quarterfinal matchups, current STRIKEFORCE Heavyweight World Champion Alistair “The Demolition Man” Overeem (34-11, 1 NC) faces the only man to tap out Fedor, the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu specialist Fabricio Werdum (14-4-1), and hard-hitting Brett “The Grim” Rogers (11-2) meets former UFC champion Josh Barnett (29-5).

"Gegard Mousasi The Dreamcatcher"Gegard Mousasi The Dreamcatcher (Geghard Movsesian on August 1, 1985) is an Armenian –Dutch (MMA) mix martial artist & professional kickboxer. Mousasi has professional record of 30 wins, 3 losses and 2 draws in his MMA career. He finished 56.67% of his fights by (T)knockouts and 33.3% by submissions.  Gegard Mousasi is the member of Russian Red Devil Sport Club which most notable fighters are Alexander and Fedor Emelianenko.

Later he switched to kickbox and MMA (mixed martial arts). Last fight of Gegard Mousasi was against Keith Jardine,… judges give the decision of a majority draw,…Decision was an upset of the night, many people think that Gegard was the winner of the fight even UFC president Dana White who wrote on his twitter “You’ve got to be $h*%ing me!”.  Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker said that that Mousasi had won the fight and he thinking of organizing a rematch for the fighters. Gegard is going to face Hiroshi Izumi in Dream 17 on July 16, 2011 🙂

The Icon of Russian sport, trains side by side with local school children in his small town (Stary Oskol). Known as “The Last Emperor”, Fedor Emelianenko is n Black Belt and International Master of Sports in Judo and Grand Master in Sambo. Also he is:

Fedor Emelianenko has a professional record 32-3(1) in MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). He was undefeated in MMA for about 10 years and considered to be the Greatest Martial Artist in the World, from 2000 to 2009 until he was catched in to the triangle of Fabricio Werdum on June 26, 2010. This loss was considered as an upset of the night.  On February 12, 2010 the fight against Antonio “Big Foot” Silva who has big weight and reach advantage (15kg, 11cm more than Fedor), was stopped by doctors at the end of 2nd round as right eye of Great Fedor Emelianenko couldn`t see because of swell. At the end of fight Fedor was so upset that he mentioned about retirement.
