Gegard Mousasi “The Dreamcatcher” (Geghard Movsesian on August 1, 1985) is an Armenian –Dutch (MMA) mix martial artist & professional kickboxer. Mousasi has professional record of 30 wins, 3 losses and 2 draws in his MMA career. He finished 56.67% of his fights by (T)knockouts and 33.3% by submissions. Gegard Mousasi is the member of Russian Red Devil Sport Club which most notable fighters are Alexander and Fedor Emelianenko.

Mousasi was born in Tehran (Iran) and during the Iran-Iraq war his family moved to Leiden, Netherlands. Gegard was brought to Judo gym by his father at the age of 8. He started boxing at 15 and just 12 month later he became an amateur boxing champion of the Netherlands with a record of 12-1 earning 12 knockouts. Later he switched to kickbox and MMA (mixed martial arts). Gegard Mousasi is a good friend of Fedor “The last Emperor” Emelianenko and trains with famous Ernesto “Mr. Perfect” Hoost and Tyrone “King of The Ring” Spong.

Last fight of Gegard Mousasi was against Keith Jardine,… judges give the decision of a majority draw,…Decision was an upset of the night, many people think that Gegard was the winner of the fight even UFC president Dana White who wrote on his twitter “You’ve got to be $h*%ing me!”.
